Before making the change to counselling, Marika was a teacher in the North Vancouver School District for over 10 years.  A love for creating meaningful connections with students and families, along with her passion for Social Emotional Learning, led her to go back to school. When she is not at work, she is spending her time with her two young children and enjoying North Shore's beautiful mountains.
